There are two series of images in this gallery:
- Filtered images produced with the same "gamma" parameter value, but with different filter mask sizes.
- Filtered images produced with the same mask size, but different "gamma" values.
This is the source image used during filtering:
Filtered images are accompanied with analysis images showing filtering masks (outlined in magenta). Each filtering mask corresponds to the source pixel inside of its border, marked by green cross hairs. Shades of grey within masks are indications of the distance of each pixel from the source pixel (where a lighter shade indicates a higher distance). The distance values for all masks displayed in an image are on the same scale. In other words, masks with mostly dark pixels have lower average distance values than masks with mostly light pixels. The filenames of the analysis images list the actual numerical values which are scaled linearly to white (maxVal) and black (minVal).
For the "gamma" variation sequence, there are some additional analysis images for intermediate values of "gamma" that have no corresponding filtered images.
