Two separate particle groups

Take an input image, we use one particle group release particles inside of foreground objects, while another group take care of the background. The two particle groups will not interrupt with each other, and each particle only performs coordinated movement with members inside a same group.
Input image:
Here are some outcomes:
1) The darker in the image, the smaller line-width and spacing. The background particles are released on the edge of objects.
Note that when particles collide with in-coming members, a visible "death line" can be formed, just like the one below the whale's tale.
2) The darker in the image, the larger line-width but smaller spacing. Background particles are released from the left side of screen. Two groups overlapped.
Note that the "death line" did not shaped with this distribution.
