Welcome to the Webpage of the Graphics, Imaging, and Games Lab!
The Graphics, Imaging, and Games Lab, or GIGL, was founded in Summer 2008 and is located in 5317 HP at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.
These are our main research interests:
- Procedural Modeling: We design new algorithms to automatically create models of real-world objects, such as trees and mountains.
- Non-Photorealistic Rendering: We make computer-generated art and we invent techniques to create images in historical artistic styles.
- Image Processing: We build tools for enhancing and abstracting images.
- Computer Games: We investigate new game mechanics and new interaction techniques.
